Eligibility and benefits
SPOSC may be able to help verify eligibility and benefits for a scheduled procedure, but coverage and network participation should also be confirmed with your health plan. Verification does not guarantee payment.
Your estimated responsibility
Patients may be responsible for deductibles, coinsurance, copayments, non-covered services or out-of-network charges. SPOSC may contact you before surgery regarding an estimated facility balance.
Billing for your care
Depending on the services provided, you may receive separate bills for the surgery center, surgeon, anesthesia or other professional services. Separate billing does not necessarily mean a provider is out of network. Confirm coverage, authorization requirements and expected costs with your health plan and care team before your procedure.
